Manage theme versions

📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.

You can view themes and theme versions that were uploaded to the Theme Manager at Manage > Marketplace > Theme Manager. You can organize and maintain your different themes on the Theme Manager page. For example, you can upload multiple versions of a theme to modify it without losing changes, or restore a previous version of a theme if required, for example if you are unsatisfied with the current version. Versions of a theme only appear in the My Themes section because they belong to parent themes.

To upload a theme version
  1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Theme Manager. The Theme Manager page opens.
  2. In the My Themes section, click the gear icon in the row of your theme.
  3. Click Upload Version. The Upload a Version to Storefront Theme dialog appears.
  4. Click Choose File in the Upload Theme field and browse to your .zip file. The maximum file size is 50MB.
  5. Click Upload. A confirmation message appears. The following events occur:
    • Your new version appears as the current theme in the My Themes section and has an Uploaded status with the date, time, and name in the Last Updated column.
    • A version of the previous theme is automatically created and included in the History link. It is renamed as Ver_1 or Ver_{number}, depending on how many other versions of the theme already exist.

Note: Each time you upload a new theme version, a new row is created when you expand the History link. The Last Updated column includes information from when the theme version was originally uploaded.

If your theme was not uploaded successfully, a Processing Failed message appears in the Actions column. Click Processing Failed to view error messages.
