Price book enhancements

Price books have been updated with several improvements to make managing products easier and to support more flexible pricing configurations.

These enhancements include newly added products now appearing at the top of the list and being highlighted, the introduction of a search option for products within price books, and the ability to configure both sale and wholesale prices directly through the UI to support various billing use cases.

Key highlights

• Newly added products appear on top: Products or pricing plans newly added to a price book now appear at the top of the list and are highlighted, replacing the previous behavior of placing them on the last page. This allows customers to easily identify and manage new additions without having to search or scroll.
• Search within price books: A dedicated search option is now available for products added to price books, a capability previously limited to the catalog. Users can quickly locate specific products within a price book.
• Sale and wholesale price configuration via UI: Both sale and wholesale prices can now be configured directly within the user interface. Users have the flexibility to apply markups or markdowns to these prices, which enables more dynamic reseller pricing and supports both direct and indirect billing use cases.
• Flexible price removal: A new drop-down option allows users to selectively remove prices. Options include removing all prices (both sale and wholesale), only the sale price, or only the wholesale price.
• Default to marketplace pricing: If a price is not explicitly configured in the price book, the system will automatically default to the marketplace pricing. When configured, price book pricing takes precedence over default marketplace pricing.
