Assign applications

Resellers can assign users and groups to applications on the Company details page. This allows Resellers to manage assignments on the products that they have purchased on behalf of customers.

Resellers can perform assignments on only the subscriptions that they manage.

Some applications take longer to complete the assignments than others. If there is a pending application assignment, Resellers are notified when they try to assign users or groups to the pending applications.

To edit assignments to applications

  1. Go to Manage > Reseller > Home > Home | Companies > company.

  2. From the Manage Company drop-down list, select Assign Apps.

  3. Click Users or Groups.

    Users

    When you select Users, you can choose to assign the users to applications or assign the applications to users. For example, when you select Assign Apps To Users, the left box displays a list of applications to choose from. When you select the application, the list of linked users appears, from which you can assign or unassign to the application.

    Groups

    When you select Groups, you can choose to assign the groups to applications or assign the applications to groups. For example, when you select Assign Groups To Apps, the left box displays a list of groups to choose from. When you select the group, the list of available applications appears, from which you can assign or unassign to the groups.

  4. To assign users or groups to applications (depending on your initial selection of Users or Groups), click the Assign Users to Apps or the Assign Groups to Apps tab.

  5. To assign applications to users or groups (depending on your initial selection of Users of Groups), click the Assign Apps to Users or the Assign Apps to Groups tab.

  6. Click the checkbox next to the user, group, or application you want to assign.

  7. Click Next. A summary of what you want to assign appears.

  8. Click Submit to confirm the assignments.
