Cancel subscriptions with add-ons

Customers can cancel an add-on without canceling the parent product subscription. However, to cancel a parent product subscription, they must first cancel the connected add-on subscriptions.

When customers attempt to cancel a parent product subscription that has associated add-ons, a Cancel Subscription dialog lists all of the active connected add-on subscriptions.

To cancel subscriptions with add-ons (customers)

  1. Cancel the add-on(s).
    1. Do one of the following:
      • Click Manage > Account > Links | Manage Apps > addonName | Update Subscription
      • Click MyApps. Hover over addonName. The gear icon appears. Click the gear icon > Manage App
    2. Click Cancel Subscription. A dialog appears. It states what will happen to the subscription and the refund terms for the subscription.
    3. Click Yes. A message appears that confirms the add-on subscription is canceled.
    4. (Optional) Repeat to cancel additional add-ons.
      Cancel all add-ons and then proceed to step 2.
  2. Cancel a parent product subscription.
    1. Do one of the following:
      • Click Manage > Account > Links | Manage Apps > productName | Update Subscription
      • Click MyApps. The gear icon appears. Click the gear icon > Manage App
    2. Click Cancel Subscription. A dialog appears. It states what will happen to the subscription and the refund terms for the subscription.
    3. Click Yes. A message appears that confirms the parent product subscription is canceled.
