Deprecation notice: Update or schedule new products at renewal for Adobe
Major Upgrade
The Update or schedule new products at renewal utility for Adobe, available under Marketplace > Company > Vendor Information | Adobe, is deprecated. This Preview UI was introduced in the 680 release (April 2025) as an interim way to update Adobe renewal quantities and schedule new Adobe products at renewal, until a generic platform experience became available through Subscription Update v2. The utility will be decommissioned at the end of December 2026.
Because this utility remained in Preview status and never progressed to General Availability, the standard six-month Deprecated and Retired durations defined in Product lifecycle phases have been shortened.
Deprecation timeline
| Phase | Period | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Deprecated | This release through November 2026 | Existing partners who already use the utility can continue to use it with support. |
| Retired | December 2026 | Existing partners can continue to use the utility. Support is no longer provided. |
| Decommissioned | End of December 2026 | The utility is removed from production. Related public documentation is also removed. |
Partners who use this utility should migrate Adobe renewal changes to Subscription Update v2 before decommissioning.
Changes in the UI
The Update or schedule new products at renewal section remains available to existing partners during the Deprecated and Retired phases. At decommissioning, the section is removed from Marketplace > Company > Vendor Information | Adobe.
Feature enablement

Setting enablement
No setting enablement is required.
Documentation
See Update subscription quantity and schedule new products at renewal. That topic will include a deprecation notice and will be removed when the feature is decommissioned.
