Retaining scheduled changes during Microsoft subscription sync
Moderate Upgrade
The Microsoft Sync Tool now retains and reapplies scheduled changes (for example, seat count adjustments, SKU or product changes, and billing term or frequency changes) on a marketplace subscription when you sync that subscription with Partner Center.
Previously, syncing subscription data from Partner Center could cancel an existing scheduled change on the marketplace. That meant a customer or administrator could lose a pending contract change without intending to. With this release, eligible scheduled changes are preserved through the sync and reapplied so the marketplace reflects Partner Center data without dropping the pending change.
After sync completes, verify that Partner Center data is aligned and that the scheduled change remains on the marketplace subscription as expected.
