Adobe Flex Discount support for reusable discounts

Marketplace now supports Adobe VIP Marketplace reusable flexible discounts. When a customer redeems a reusable discount before its end date, that pricing automatically continues on renewals and seat additions until the discount's Reusable Until date (set by Adobe). This extends existing Adobe Flex Discount support and helps partners retain introductory pricing beyond campaign end dates.

Prerequisites

• Adobe Flex Discount support must be active on the Adobe VIP Marketplace side.
• The Adobe VIP Marketplace integration must be configured for the marketplace.

What's changed?

Capability	Description
Identify reusable discounts	Reusable discounts and their Reusable Until date are visible when importing and browsing Adobe discounts.
Renewal auto-apply	Eligible subscriptions automatically renew with the reusable discount until the Reusable Until date. No additional opt-in is required when the discount is configured with an empty Billing Cycle value and no conflicting discount selection applies.
Seat additions within the lock window	Added seats on subscriptions that redeemed a reusable discount before the end date receive discounted pricing until the Reusable Until date, including seat additions placed after the discount end date.
Preview Renewal	Preview Renewal reflects whether a reusable discount will apply on the next term.

❗ Important:

• The customer must redeem the reusable discount at least once before the discount end date to qualify for continuity after that date.
• Configure reusable discounts with an empty Billing Cycle field for automatic renewal apply.
• The Reusable Until date is set by Adobe and cannot be edited in the marketplace.
• A flex discount explicitly selected through Update Subscription takes precedence over automatic reusable renewal apply.

Changes in the UI

The Import Discounts from External Integrations page (Products > Price Management > Discounts > Import External Discounts) has been enhanced:

UI change	Description
Reusable Until column	New column showing the date through which the discount is reusable. Non-reusable discounts do not show a date in this column.
Reusability filter	New filter with Show all, Yes, and No options.
Renewal Reusability section	New read-only section in the discount detail panel showing the Reusable through date and explanatory help text. This information is set by Adobe and cannot be edited.

Customer impact

Partners running introductory or retention campaigns with Adobe flex discounts can plan renewal and expansion pricing with visible Reusable Until dates, automatic renewal apply for eligible subscriptions, and discounted seat additions within the lock window. This reduces manual discount re-entry and helps retain campaign pricing after the discount end date.

Feature enablement

This feature is not enabled by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request enablement.
