Classic theme

The classic theme is one of the two predefined storefront base themes, and provides a generic e-commerce storefront for a marketplace that primarily sells digital subscription services. You can use classic as a reference and example when working on your own themes.

The classic theme is a legacy theme that provides HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files that are rendered using the Nunjucks templating engine to provide a generic e-commerce storefront.

Modifications to this theme must be performed by a front-end developer using the Storefront Toolkit. Since it does not use components, it cannot be modified in the Storefront Builder after the theme has been uploaded to the marketplace.

The classic theme includes a number of standard pages, including the following:

• A Home page, which features a product carousel and a slider (horizontal list) of selected products.
• A product listing page that contains a vertical list of all products.
• A product profile page, which includes a product banner, image, description, and some supplementary information such as product questions. There are also subsections for edition and pricing information and product features.
• An FAQ page.
