Checkout integration

❗ Important: Checkout integration with Storefront Builder is only available if the latest version of checkout is enabled on your marketplace. Contact your AppDirect technical representative for more information.

Additionally, note that AppDirect does not currently support anonymous carts.

As part of storefront customization, you can also customize the checkout flow. The checkout pages are not considered part of the theme itself. However, when you build your theme, you must complete some additional tasks to ensure that the checkout process works properly.

There are three main parts to the integration process:

• Configure the cart preview
• Configure the "add to cart" behavior
• Configure the product configuration tool

The classic and Plaza base themes provided with the toolkit both integrate all of these features as a reference.
