Pricing plan selection from product search in Quotes
Moderate Upgrade
This feature is currently being released to sandbox marketplaces. Expected production announcement: release 758 on November 11, 2026. Dates may change based on validation results.
With this release, users can expand product rows in Quotes search to view and select specific editions and pricing plans before adding a product to a quote. On the Instant Quote Creation and Quote Details pages, expanding a product row reveals nested edition and pricing plan details, including billing frequency and contract term. Previously, selecting a product applied the first available pricing plan by default, and users had to open item configuration to change the plan.
Key highlights
- Users can select an edition and pricing plan before adding a product to a quote by expanding a product row in search.
- Expanding a product row opens a nested list of editions; each edition displays billing frequency and contract term details consistent with the Editions search tab. Each pricing plan row includes an Add to Quote button.
- Clicking a product row expands or collapses its editions and no longer adds the product immediately.
- The experience also works with filtered product search.
- Prices are not displayed on plan rows in this release.
- Filtering search results by billing frequency or contract term is not included.
- Users can still change the selected pricing plan later using Edit on the quote details page.
