Product Uploader updated to include custom integrations
Minor Upgrade
Product Uploader is updated to ensure that your external integrations like Microsoft, Adobe, Google and such are no longer lost when moving products between marketplaces. You can now download and upload the Custom Integration type and its specific configuration directly within your catalog files through Product Uploader.
Previously, when exporting a product catalog from a sandbox environment to a production or other marketplaces, custom integration data was not included in the transfer due to which:
- Important details identifying a product as a Microsoft or Adobe integration were lost.
- Partners had to contact the AppDirect support team to manually reconfigure integrations for every product.
With this release, a new Custom Integration column is added to both the Product Basics CSV and the Entire Catalog Zip file, and Create Product CSV when you are creating physical or digital products in bulk.
- When you download the zip or CSV files, the files are downloaded with all the defined customizations in the Custom Integration column.
- When you upload the zip or CSV to a new marketplace, the system automatically recognizes the integration, creating the product with the correct settings.
- You can manually edit the values in the Custom Integration column before uploading to a different marketplace if adjustments are required.
📝 Note: If a product does not have a customized integration defined, the column will simply remain blank in the export file.
