Translation customization: CSV-based workflow replaces key-by-key editing

Marketplaces that were editing translations key by key using the Translation Customization page (Marketplace Settings > Translation Customization) now use the Customize translations feature instead. This is a CSV-based workflow with download, edit, and upload. The same customization outcomes are supported; only the workflow changes.

📝 Note: This release does not introduce the Customize translations feature. Many marketplaces already use it, and there is no change for these marketplaces.

Key points

• Key-by-key editing is no longer available for translation edits. Updates go through Customize translations (download / edit / upload CSV).
• Transition is automatic. No separate migration step is required to activate the replacement workflow.
• Existing customizations are preserved.
• Bulk edits are made via CSV rather than one-at-a-time edits.
• Translations apply across the platform, not only on classic pages.
• Marketplaces that need to add new custom keys or adjust customizations tied to the previous approach after transition should contact their AppDirect technical representative for API guidance.
