Announcement: Release of Enhanced Storefront Search Settings

We’re excited to introduce Enhanced Storefront Search Settings to empower Marketplace Managers with greater control over search relevancy and product discoverability in Storefront Search.

With this enhancement, we’ve improved the default search algorithm, improving accuracy with partial word matching and reducing irrelevant results. This ensures a more relevant and refined storefront search experience for customers, particularly in localized marketplaces with diverse product content.

The new UI gives Marketplace Managers the ability to fine-tune search by enabling/disabling specific product fields and adjusting their relevance weighting, optimizing search results. They can preview search queries and view results before publishing changes, ensuring better decision-making. The Product Boost/Bury feature allows the Marketplace Manager to adjust specific products' positions in the search results.

These updates will help customers to create a more tailored and efficient search experience, ultimately improving product discovery and conversion.
