Bulk upload Physical products and variants using Product Uploader

In this release, AppDirect has built a new capability that allows users to bulk upload physical products with variants such as size, color, or capacity in bulk in CSV file format using product uploader. This streamlines the process of managing large product catalogs with multiple variants, empowering Marketplace Managers and Developers with increased productivity and data accuracy.

To enable this enhancement a new dataset, Physical Products is added to the Create Catalog section.

On uploading the details, the Product uploader generates the variant combinations based on the number of variants added to a product.

📝 Note: You cannot update the prices for the variant combinations while creating variants in bulk. All the combinations are by default priced at $10. To update the prices you must download the pricing plan and update the prices as required.

This enhancement significantly reduces manual effort and time spent on managing product variants. You can now quickly add and update large numbers of products with variants to your marketplace.

❗ Important: The dataset ‘Products’ will be renamed to ‘Digital Products’ from this release onwards.
