Adobe Subscription Update support (Update V2)

This release introduces the native Adobe Subscription Update V2 experience, enabling immediate and scheduled quantity updates for Adobe subscriptions across single or multiple products within a single cart. The new workflow eliminates the need for manual Adobe API calls, soft-cancellations, or AppDirect intervention for all supported Update V2 scenarios.

What’s new?

Enhanced update capabilities

Users (Assisted Sales) can now perform the following directly through the new Update Subscription V2 experience:

• Immediate updates
  • Quantity increases for multiple Adobe products
  • Quantity decreases for multiple Adobe products
  • Mixed quantity changes across multiple Adobe products in one cart
• Scheduled updates
  • Scheduled quantity increases
  • Scheduled quantity decreases
  • Combined scheduled increases and decreases in the same cart across single or multiple Adobe products

📝 Note: Self-serve access to these capabilities is not included in this release. These features are available only through Assisted Sales.

Customer impact

• Greater flexibility for partners: Partners can now manage common Adobe subscription changes—immediate or scheduled—without relying on manual API interactions or AppDirect support.
• Improved multi-product handling: The cart now supports update actions across multiple Adobe products at once. Combined quantity increases are supported, allowing customers to qualify for Adobe volume-based discounts when eligible.

UI enhancements

Users can now manage Adobe subscription updates through the dedicated Update Subscription V2 interface. To access the new functionality, users must enter the updated subscription-edit experience, where all Update V2 capabilities are available.
