Improved Azure Plan Onboarding with Automatic Role Assignment

This update improves the Azure Plan provisioning experience by automatically configuring Microsoft Entra ID permissions when a new Azure Plan subscription is created.

Previously, after provisioning an Azure Plan, partners had to manually assign the required permissions in Microsoft Entra ID before customers could begin managing Azure resources. With this enhancement, the platform now automatically retrieves global administrator users from the customer’s Entra ID tenant and assigns them the Owner role on the Azure subscription during plan creation.

Customers can immediately start managing and consuming Azure resources without waiting for manual permission setup, reducing delays and support requests. This update supports both self-serve and assisted purchase flows.
