Improved Adobe cancellation experience with pre-validated options
Minor Upgrade
The Adobe integration cancellation flow has been enhanced to pre-validate cancellation options before they are shown to users. Only options that are valid for the subscription’s current state are displayed, preventing invalid selections. Existing cancellation rules and policies remain unchanged.
Behavior by cancellation timeline
Cancellation availability and options vary based on the subscription timeline:
-
Within the 14-day grace period
-
All standard cancellation options are available.
-
Selection of a custom cancellation date is not supported.

-
-
After the 14-day grace period (more than three days before renewal)
- Users may schedule cancellation at:
-
End of billing period, or
-
End of contract.

-
- Users may schedule cancellation at:
-
Within the final three days before contract renewal
-
Cancellation is unavailable.
-
An informational message is displayed explaining the restriction.

-
UI changes
The cancellation step in the Adobe integration now dynamically updates available options based on eligibility:
- Ineligible cancellation options are hidden.
- Cancellation actions are disabled during the final three days before renewal, with explanatory messaging displayed.
Customer impact
- Customers see only eligible cancellation options for their subscription state.
- Reduced confusion and fewer failed cancellation attempts due to invalid selections.
