Enhancement to Azure Reserved Instance subscription sync

Minor Upgrade

AppDirect has enhanced how the Azure Reserved Instance (RI) subscriptions are synchronized on the marketplace, ensuring more reliable and accurate billing for all your one time purchases in Microsoft portal.

Previously, the system only created the required billing subscription if a Reserved Instance (RI) order was placed in the Microsoft portal. This meant that other one-time purchases, such as Azure Savings Plans, Azure Credits, or third-party SaaS items might have been missed if an RI order wasn't the first purchase.

With this enhancement, the synchronization logic is updated to check for the presence of an Azure Plan in the marketplace instead of relying on a specific RI order in Microsoft portal. If an Azure Plan Entitlement exists in the marketplace but the corresponding billing subscription for Azure RI is not present in the marketplace, the system will now automatically create an Azure RI.

This enhancement ensures that a billing subscription is always correctly in place for any customer with an Azure Plan. This significantly improves the reliability and accuracy of billing for all one-time Azure products, ensuring every purchase is accurately captured and billed.
