Bulk upload Product lines, categories, and sub-categories

With this release, you can now bulk update the categories, sub-categories and product lines that a product is associated with using the Product Uploader. A product can be associated with multiple categories. For example: A mobile phone could be associated with the Phone, Digital camera, or Electronics category.

This update helps streamline the process of managing Product Lines, Categories, and Sub-Categories, reducing manual effort and time spent on these tasks.

To enable this update the following new datasets have been added to the product uploader in the Download Catalog section:

• Marketplace Product Settings > Category
• Marketplace Product Settings > Product Line

You can download the CSV files, associate the categories and sub-categories or Product Lines for the required products and upload the updated CSV files. The updates are then reflected on the storefront.

This feature is not enabled by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.
