Updates to customer quote version approval form

When a customer receives a quote version for approval, it is now mandatory for the user to provide a payment method before approving and sending it for fulfillment.

If there is no payment method specified, the quote version approval page displays a message indicating that payment method is missing and is required for approving the quote version. The Approve Quote button is activated only after the payment method is provided. This improves the customer experience by reducing the steps in the approval and fulfillment process.

Feature enablement

This feature is not enabled by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.

Setting enablement

The payment method is validated if the following marketplace settings are configured under Billing Settings > Billing Functionality:

  • Subscriptions > One Click Free Trials: unchecked
  • Payment Requirements > Require billing information for all apps
  • Payment Requirements > Require billing information for free trials
  • Payment Requirements > Require billing information for 100% discounts
