Create and manage products

Different types of vendors can sell their products through AppDirect marketplaces. Platform owners can create products on their own marketplaces, while external vendors can apply to create and distribute their products through the AppDirect Network Catalog, which is available to multiple AppDirect marketplaces.

Although there are some differences in the way in which those users interact with the AppDirect platform, the basic process of product creation and distribution is similar.

Requirements for integration

To integrate a multi-user web application sold on a subscription model into the AppDirect network, you must use Open ID (see Getting started with OpenID) and implement integration endpoints. See Integration events and Edit integration.

Businesses with single-user applications or downloadable apps might only need to implement a subset of these endpoints.
